These terms govern your use of urbantevar.com and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order you accept them.

1. About us

Urban Tevar sells handcrafted oxidised brass jewellery online in India. Contact details are on our contact page.

2. Products

Our jewellery is oxidised brass. It is not silver, not gold, and not hallmarked, and we make no such claim anywhere on this site. Every piece is finished by hand, so slight variations in the oxidation between pieces are normal and are not defects.

Product photographs are taken as accurately as we can manage, but screens differ, and colour and scale may vary slightly from what arrives.

3. No warranty and no repair service

We do not offer any warranty or guarantee on our products, and we do not provide repair or re-plating services. Products are sold as described. Normal wear, tarnishing caused by contact with perfume, cosmetics, water or sweat, and damage caused by misuse or accident are not covered. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where an item is defective or not as described.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices and offers may change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where an item has been listed at a manifestly incorrect price.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the item. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where stock is unavailable, the address is undeliverable, payment is not authorised, or we suspect fraud or abuse of our returns policy. Where we cancel, we refund in full.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Governed by our shipping policy and returns & refunds policy, which form part of these terms. Note in particular that our standard refund is store credit or a gift card, with money returned to the original payment method only where the fault is ours.

7. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use this site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or resell our products as your own brand. We may suspend access where this happens.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site — photographs, text, the Urban Tevar name, the तेवर wordmark and all designs — belongs to us and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Grievances

Our grievance officer and the timelines we commit to are on our grievance redressal page, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
